I got this sweet antique mirror while picking at the sweetest old man's house in Bell, Florida a few months back. I talked his little ears off and saw this old, broke up mirror outside in a pile of junk and was like omgosh I love it and so, he gave it to me. Fast forward to today when I finally decide to work on it.

Y'all! Yooouuuuallllllll! Y'ALL 😭

I opened the back of the mirror to assess the situation, and my last pull of the backing- THOUSANDS OF ANTS AND SPIDERS came running out. Possibly millions, I really couldn't count but lemme tell you one thing - WORST DAY OF MY FURNITURE REFINISHING LIFE!

I HATE BUGS! Absolutely terrify me to my big ol' bones 😭

Of course no one in my family heard me hollering for dear life, absolutely no one - not even my nosey cat who is a certified bug catcher.

Worst. Day. EVER!

I emptied a whole gallon of hand sanitizer on them and half a bottle of windex 🥹 I am so glad it wasn't in the main part of my house.

$300

This is a RARE, impossible to find, Penny McAllister Holiday Folk Line Santa Clause. This piece was made in 2007. The creator of this one of kind find has since passed away, making it even more sentimental.

• Artist / Maker: Penny McAllister for Midwest of Cannon Falls
• Release Year: 2007 holiday collection
• Materials: Paper pulp (paper mache), fabric, beads, and tinsel
• Design Features: Stands 17 inches tall, wears a red-and-white outfit with a large white beard, and holds a garland strand with round tags reading "JOLLY" and "OLD".

It is missing the candy canes atop his Santa Hat, I considered replacing that but never did. We are moving, clearing out everything I've collected over 30 years.

This is a rare find. You will probably never get your hands on one like this again, neither will I!

Collect, collection, collector's. Collectibles, vintage, antique, Christmas, Santa Claus, St. Nick, St. Nicholas, rare, unique, one of a kind, paper mache, eccentric, eclectic, whimsical, whimsy, folk art, garland, jolly, old, elf, glitter, display, rustic, primitive, cottage, farmhouse

I am back home after some much needed time away!

Look what came in the mail while I was out ...

Is it haunted? ... probably!
Do I love it? ... absolutely!

Here's to refinishing it for some lucky little girl 🩰👻

I think I was meant to have just 1 little girl. I would never be able to sell all the cute little creations I create though ...

She is done. Whimsical. Magical. Imperfect, created with vintage pieces I have collected over the years.

Some little girl is going to love having her hang in her sweet little, whimsical bedroom 🐰

Just a big ball of stuff Imma turn into something magical ✨️ I am back, again. On a Whim, always.

As always, I am on a whim again today. Yes there is laundry to do and dishes in the sink and yes I have other projects that are half painted that I need to finish but, anyway 🤗

Can anyone guess what I am trying to create? I am just getting started but I am already loving how it's turning out 🪄

I painted this piece a few years back for an auction to raise awareness for Lyme Disease. A friend of mine won it and the lyrics I stamped on the sides turned out to be exactly what she would need in the years to come.

"She's a sparrow when She's broken,
But She's an eagle when She flies"

Rest is colorful, sparkly peace Sweet Dolly 💗
