We specialize in decorative concrete work to include acid stained concrete, decorative concrete overlays (we are a certified Stardek installer), stamped concrete, and more. McKelvey Masonry builds concrete countertops and is a certified Granicrete concrete countertop builder. We pour new flat concrete such as patios, floors, sidewalks, and driveways. We recently completed this beautiful project for these wonderful repeat customers. They wanted to add this wonderful stamped concrete patio and retaining wall with drainage and then decided they wanted their front sidewalk to match. We also added some curbing along the sidewalk to try to keep the 4 legged family member out of the mulch. We did custom staining on the concrete and used our live edge form liners to give the curbs a cut stone look. We completed all aspects of this project including the excavation and drainage pipe as we have added a mini excavator and hope to add more equipment in the future.

We don’t do only new projects, we do lots of repairs as well. This customer had some very old concrete steps and a sidewalk that were no longer in good shape. We were happy to remove the the old concrete and replace it with fresh concrete that will last him for years to come.

This front porch is stunning! That may look like rustic barn wood but it’s concrete. This customer wanted the barn wood stamp and then we added the heavy stone stamp for a border to tie in with stone on their house. This one turned out just beautiful.

Our repeat customer added this beautiful timber frame pavilion to his pool area and wanted Exposed Aggregate. We were happy to be able to make this outdoor entertainment space beautiful for them.

McKelvey Masonry & Concrete 10u softball team.
We loved watching this team play SO well this season. They went 12-1-1 on the season and lost their playoff game by 1 run in extra innings. It was a nail biter of a game and we are so proud of each of these girls on such a great season.

We haven’t posted in a while because we have been busy. The winter months have kept us busy with indoor work doing lots of tile jobs, many days looking at and talking with clients about new upcoming projects, and continuing our education in the concrete industry. We just added 6 large projects to our summer calendar yesterday alone.
If you have an upcoming project or even a project you have been thinking about give us a call so we can chat about what you would like. The calendar is filling much faster than we anticipated this season.
I did have to share an unexpected card that I received in the mail yesterday. Our customers are always happy and appreciative of a job well done but sometimes the thanks they give goes above and beyond. The price is always fair and the quality of work is top notch.
We can’t wait to get back outside and let the creative juices flow designing exceptional decorative concrete projects for you all.
It’s so fun being a leader in the decorative concrete industry in our area and we take our continuing education in the field seriously in the off season.
