The garden was slower than expected but is starting to pick up speed. I know it is still August, but I have started harvesting my first wave of corn. At this point, I don’t have much of the corn to sell, but I know some people love to decorate with the stalks. They are still very much green, but would anyone be interested in the stalk of the corn? It doesn’t have to be now, but this way I can plan on what to do with the stalks.

My lettuce is starting to go to seed. Is anyone interested in some seeds for next year?

I am having a rummage sale with the Freeman City Wide rummage sale. I will be selling 8 oz bags of lettuce for $2.00 each or 3 for $5. You can also try a Berry Pepper (a frozen treat not form a garden) while you are here. Friday from 1-6 and Saturday 8-12. 709 S Poplar. I hope to see you there.

I still have plenty of lettuce to share. I have so much that I skipped the tortilla for my lunch.

My daughter is asking me, "why did you do this?". 🤣 "This is too much!" At least I have a helper
