Transitional Kitchen Remodel Done in a Downy White Finish
This kitchen went through a stunning transformation to give it a fresh new look. The cabinets were still in good condition, so the homeowners decided to reface the existing cabinets. They went with the Lincoln door from the Kitchen Solvers Classic Collection done in a downy white finish and pewter glaze. We also added cabinet boxes to the tops of the existing wall cabinets and upper and lower cabinets to the left of the sink. We then removed the microwave and installed a stainless steel hood in its place. For the hutch area, we added all new cabinets with some glass doors in the upper cabinets and a microwave cabinet in the lower cabinet with some additional storage. The cabinets in the hutch area were done in a pewter finish. Next we installed new under cabinet lights and also ran lighting inside the glass doored cabinets. To finish the new look we installed a ceramic tile backsplash in a light gray.
