We acquired a new to us clamp rack earlier this year. Finally had the opportunity to load up a small section of it with boards today. Can’t wait to see the entire rack full of boards.

It didn’t go with out a small accident. A pipe used to tighten the clamps slipped off and caught me on the side of the head. At least I have a new pair of glasses now.

I know this is the same picture, but some asked for a link to the liquor decanters when I got them on the website to order. I have gotten the cherry one on the site. I will add the maple one today, but will use the same picture as I have not made a maple one yet. These are made to order and will take time to produce and ship.

Today we Shou Sugi Ban. Lots of you know Sundays are my free time in the shop. I get to play. I don’t work on stock or orders much. It’s time for me. Lots of what I try ends up in the trash or the burn pile. I spend an inordinate amount of time learning what not to do. 😂. But today was fun. This is white oak. The edges were burned with a torch and the char was brushed off the soaked in oil. The look is spectacular.
