This is a first for us, we are offering a 10% discount on our adult sized rolling pins for the Memorial Day weekend. The sale starts now and goes until Monday, May 25th 2026.

We have family in for a wedding this weekend as so we will not be monitoring our socials as normal. We will try to answer question as we can, but please be patient.

We have quite a few rolling pins ready to ship, but none will ship before Tuesday at the earliest due to the holiday.

We hope everyone has a great start to the summer season, fun with family and friend and awesome cookouts or lake days. Please remember the reason for the observance as you kick off the fun.

All gave some, some gave all. God's speed to our fallen.

These are all but ready for sale!

All these wood chips came from turning the octagons down to cylinders. All 60 are now round. Only two have issues. I think I will fix the issues and sell them as decoration only pins. They will not be food safe.

Will start turning handles on them soon. If you’ve been wanting a rolling pin of your own, now is a good time to order off our website. You won’t have to wait long for them to ship.

I know it doesn’t look like a lot of progress, but all 60 blanks had both ends squared off on my chop saw, their centers marked and drive spur indentions driven in. They were all then ran thru my bandsaw knocking off edges to make the blanks into an octagon. Tomorrow I will round them all to a uniform cylinder on my small lathe. Once they are rounded they will either become a traditional handle pin or a French pin.

This memory popped up on my personal page. Before this page was ever created.

Man, the tools I use to make rolling pins have drastically changed in the last 8 years, but the rolling pins are still the same. I had home made clamp jigs, parallel clamps and my old Sears Craftsman table saw.

The quality has not changed in all these years. We still make basically the same style as we did back then. If you have one of our early pins, please a post a picture of it here on this post. I would love to see how they have held up over the years.

I must apologize. Facebook alerted me that we had a message. Someone asked if our rolling pins were for pie crusts. When I tried to reply to the message, the message disappeared.

Our answer is "YES" you can use our rolling pins for pie crusts. All of our items are made to be used in your kitchen.

If anyone else has used their rolling pin that was purchased from us on a pie crust, would you please give your review of how well it performed?

We often get asked how we make our pins. We have a process for cutting down lumber, making glue ups and cutting blanks to size. The pics show the first few steps in the process.

Recently we added this clamp rack to our shop. This machine is cutting wasted time in glue up over our old home made clamp devices. We are also able to get 10 blanks per glue up instead of 7.

Look forward to getting these blanks to the next phase of turning them into gorgeous rolling pins.

Have you ever wanted to paint your own door hanger but can’t cut out the pieces?

We want to try something. We can guess at what door hanger file will be popular and spend a ton of money on files. Or we can let you find a file on www.etsy.com that you like. Hint search for what you’d like and add “svg” to the search. Send us a link to the file. We will purchase the file and cut the pieces for you. We will box up all the pieces and ship them to you. The pieces will have double sided tape so all you have to do is peel and stick after painting. The back will be 1/4” plywood and the pieces will be 1/8” plywood.

Depending on the complexity of the file we estimate charging between $25-30 plus shipping. All you would need is paint and ribbon if required.

This will be somewhat what the package will look like.

Please let us know if you’d be interested in this service.
