Stadium Lights and Tailpipes. Year one. In the books.

Muscle cars in the Porcupine stadium parking lot, hoods up, sun going down, all of it raising money for Lions Club football. Springtown showed up and showed out.

We set up the Vortex tent, handed out cold waters from the YETI, and spent the evening doing our favorite thing: standing around nice machinery talking to our neighbors.

And yes, that trophy is built from camshafts and a piston. Whoever welded that deserves a trophy of their own.

To everyone who brought a car, brought their kids, or just came to look: this is what it’s about. See you at the next one.

Last first day.

Springtown Porcupines Senior Sunrise, and yeah, half our leadership was out there in Vortex hats at 6:30 in the morning. Not for the ’gram, but because their girls/grand daughters are seniors.

Here’s the thing about complicated roofs: every extra angle is an extra place to get it wrong.

Every valley has to drain right.
Every transition has to tie in right.
Every pe*******on has to be sealed right.

Because Texas weather has a gift for finding the one spot somebody figured wouldn’t matter.

We figure they all matter.
