Today, on World Mental Health Day, we are reminded that safety and well-being extend beyond what we can see.

Even the strongest among us may carry unseen burdens. Take time to check on one another, listen without judgment, and remind those around you that they are valued.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

Your mental health matters. Your presence matters. You matter.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 for confidential support.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to attend A Day to Lead hosted by Christ Fellowship Church. Their goal is to inspire, motivate, and develop leaders. In a continued effort of ongoing team development and as an investment in leaders all over, Heritage Concrete Construction was a proud sponsor for the last two years. John Maxwell, a leadership guru and author of 94 books, and friends Ryan Leak and Liz Forkin Bohannon provided key strategies and insights. Here are a few of our staff favorites. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔?

Friday Leadership Reminder

Leadership gets better when communication gets clearer, praise gets louder, and accountability gets stronger.

At Heritage, leadership isn’t just about getting the job done; it’s about how we lead people along the way.

Communicate expectations.
Recognize the wins.
Have the hard conversations.
Hold yourself and your team accountable.
And always lead with faith, integrity, excellence, and purpose.

“Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17

That’s leadership. That’s growth. That’s the Heritage Way.
