Water Primrose was taking over the shoreline and and stopping this pond from being dredged. Chemical treatments make the problem worse, creating more nutrient overload and more muck in the pond that chokes the oxygen. Mechanical removal is the only safe and viable option.

Duckweed is a pain in the butt to get under control unless you can mechanically remove the majority of it first. 1 hour in with the wind behaving, we're making a good dent.
