The Bluffs is on the rise 🏗️🌴

The first elevated concrete pour at The Bluffs is making headlines as the 28-story multifamily tower prepares to go vertical in downtown Clearwater.

Approximately 50 team members and trade partners placed 430 cubic yards of concrete during the pour, marking the shift from months of foundational work below ground to the vertical structure that will soon begin taking shape along the waterfront.

Milestones like this are built long before the concrete starts flowing. They take careful planning, coordination and a team that knows how to work together when it counts. We’re excited to keep that momentum going as The Bluffs rises.

A new home for Moss in North Texas 💚

We recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of our new Dallas office, marking an exciting milestone for our growing Texas team. At nearly 26,000 SF, the new space was designed around our people, bringing our office and field teams closer together, creating more opportunities to collaborate and giving our growing team room to build what’s next.

The Dallas area is home to more than 150 Moss team members supporting clients and communities. We’re excited to keep growing alongside a region experiencing such incredible growth and delivering the wood-frame and commercial projects shaping North Texas.

Giving back, honoring heroes and making a difference. 💚🇺🇸🌎

This month, 70 Moss team members participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, honoring the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on Sept. 11, 2001. Our team also supported the Panthers Warriors Hockey 9/11 Memorial Tournament, which brings military veterans and first responders together through hockey, and cheered on the Moss-sponsored team as they took home the win! 🏒🏆 We wrapped up the month with 30 team members participating in the International Coastal Cleanup, helping care for the beautiful beaches and coastal communities we’re lucky to call home.

Some of our best Moss Moments happen off the jobsites and outside the office, when our teams come together around something bigger than the work itself.

Breaking ground on more than homes🏡💚

Last week, we celebrated the groundbreaking of Moss Estates at Oakland Park, a new 10-home affordable homeownership community being built in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Broward.

Made possible by a $1 million gift from Bob and Sandra Moss, this project will give 10 Broward families the opportunity to build stability and create a place to call home.

We’re especially excited that our Moss team will have the opportunity to get involved throughout the build, bringing the same skills, teamwork and pride we bring to every project. Supporting the communities where we live and work matters deeply to Moss – especially here, in the community where our story began.

As summer comes to an end, our Communications Intern Morgan is taking us along for a look back at her summer with Moss. ☀️💚

From jobsite visits to designing social content, connecting with teams across Moss and taking part in company events, Morgan spent the summer learning how ideas move from the office into the work happening across our business.
