I’ve noticed a bunch of new friends on here lately and I just wanted to pause to say hello and welcome! + also thank you so much for being here. It truly means the world to have you along for the ride. Since there are so many new faces.. allow me to reintroduce myself. I’m Bre! 👋

You could say I was quite literally born to paint. I am a third generation painter so this trade is deeply rooted in my family blood. I am the first female running the jobsite. With over 11 years of professional painting and staining experience I can honestly say I absolutely love what I do! Helping people transform, protect, and improve their homes is my absolute passion.

But behind the painting is my biggest motivation of all. My son! I am a proud single mom. Everything I do and every hour of hard work I pour into this business is to build a beautiful life and legacy for him.

I’ve always been detail oriented and love working with my hands. As a kid, I used to get in trouble for climbing way too high in the trees. As an adult? That fearless demeanor serves me pretty well since I’m up on ladders and roofs daily! You can usually find me on a roof somewhere in Northern Colorado painting away but every single day is a new adventure over here.

I take immense pride in my work and offer interior/ exterior painting, + deck and fence refinishing!

I do most of my interior painting work in the winter ❄️ & my exterior work when that beautiful Colorado sun is shining ☀️

Today I am celebrating 4 years alcohol free! 🥹

4 years sober from alcohol and 6+ years completely free from all pharmaceuticals! I cleared out the chemicals, switched to an all organic lifestyle and decided to take true care of my body and mind. Not only for myself, but for my son.

I went from the absolute bottom to running my own successful house painting business. When you treat your body like a temple it shows up in your work. & My customers get the benefits every single day! Absolute reliability, laser sharp focus, and the steadiest hands in the business.

There was a time when my hands shook from anxiety & trauma. I was trapped in a dark cycle using alcohol to try and cope. But I looked at my son, looked at where I was living and then I took a good long hard look in the mirror. I realized that if I didn't break the cycle, the trauma would win. I had to get us out of there, no matter what.

I chose him. I chose me. I put down the bottle and picked up the brush. There were no shortcuts. No easy days. I got up every single day through chronic illness flare ups and all and I painted my way out of hell. 🖌️🔥

&We are only going up from here ☝️

Shout out to Jeff at Titan Contractor Sprayers for sending the exact part number. No instructions needed, just a super simple fix! Took less than 5 minutes. Four years of hard work and this is the first fix my paint sprayer has ever needed. Zero issues. Goes to show you why Titan makes the best sprayers in the game 💯

Seriously tho look at this bedroom... I am obsessssed! Fun little project today. I used Benjamin Moore Scuff-X and the coverage with this stuff is seriously unreal. Goodbye dark and gloomy and hello bright and happy!

This is something I paint on every house! But here we are dealing with a total trifecta of eyesores on this one wall... the gas meter, the ugly foundation + the electrical box. They completely ruin the vibe lol but a true professional doesn't just paint around the ugly stuff, we make it disappear. 🪄

I posted this on my story a couple days ago and I had a bunch of people reach out asking how I do this saying that they spend a lot of time taping these thigs off and paint around them. What I do is I tape off all the important barcodes, numbers, and glass dials so the utility workers can still read them. Then it's a quick coat of exterior spray primer then a spray of the house body paint! The primer on metal surfaces is super important. It's just a light mist that gives the paint something to grip too so it doesn't peel. For the foundation I just do a quick spray. You never want to cake the paint on the foundation. And before anybody says anything no, I've never had an issue with peeling. Again it's a real quick coat, don't cake it on.

Anywho this just makes everything blend together and look cleaner! My customers always love that I do this for them. 🙂
