It’s been a minute since the last update — but for good reason.

Lately the focus has been on getting the shop dialed in, wrapping up the Metropoulos run, and getting out from underfoot at George’s place so he can keep things moving — all while getting fully set up in our own space. A lot of behind-the-scenes work, but it’s starting to pay off.

We’ve officially kicked off design work with a few clients, taken in some new orders, and started getting attention from boutique amp builders — which is seriously exciting.

Big things coming soon. Stay tuned.

Yahtzee! End panels complete. As I get closer to finishing this run, it really hits me that these are the final cabinets of the Metropoulos Amp Inc production era. It’s been an honor and a privilege to work with George, and I’m incredibly proud of everything he’s accomplished. Having built the cabs that house what I believe are some of the finest Plexis in the world make me very proud. Bittersweet indeed.

Got this one going for a Metropoulos Metroplex MKII owner. This is the slant that will sit on top of a matched standard cab to create a mini stack. It’s 22" wide to perfectly match his head shell. This one will be baffled to house four 8" Celestion speakers, but we can also do it as a 1×12 or any configuration dimensions allow. We are a custom shop and all right? More on this to follow.

Got a pile of 100-watt boxes with the bottoms and one side glued up. Time to get to wrapping. Fifteen of them, to be exact. Ray was a machine yesterday, knocking out the glue-ups. I helped, but truth be told, my kid is better at that than I am these days.
