Twenty-five years ago today, our nation changed forever. 🇺🇸

September 11 left a mark on our hearts, our families, and our country that time will never erase.

I recently watched a documentary on Netflix that reminded me how important it is to help younger generations understand what happened that day and how deeply it shaped the world they live in. These stories deserve to be remembered and shared with honesty, care, and compassion.

Between running businesses, raising families, and managing everyday life, it’s easy to keep moving without pausing. Today, I hope we all take a moment to reflect—to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the people who stepped forward when our country needed them.

As a U.S. Army veteran who served in Afghanistan and fought in the war that followed, this remembrance is deeply personal. It is heartbreaking to carry questions about that war, its cost, and the many lives lost—questions that, for me, may never have answers that bring peace. Seeing conflict, cruelty, and suffering continue around the world makes that sadness even heavier. Behind every loss is a person, a family, and a future that should have been.

Through that heartbreak, I remain deeply proud of my fellow service members—those who served, those we lost, and those still fighting quiet battles long after coming home. To the families carrying grief, supporting loved ones, and finding the courage to move forward every day: your sacrifices matter. Your strength matters. You are not forgotten.

My hope for our country, and for the world, is that we find more compassion, more understanding, and more reasons to care for one another. Even when our perspectives differ, we can honor those who suffered and recognize the value of every human life.

May we never forget this day, the countless ways it changed our world, or the love and courage that helped carry us forward. May those still hurting find comfort, those still struggling find support, and those we lost always be remembered. 🤍

Another kitchen completed to perfection ✨

For this project, we refreshed the existing cabinetry with a smooth, durable, professional sprayed finish while keeping the entire space warm, bright, and timeless.

The cabinets were painted in Sherwin-Williams Creamy using Centurion 2K Wood Primer + Centurion 2K Topcoat for a hard, furniture-grade finish. The trim was also painted using the same cabinet coating for added durability and a beautiful, consistent look.

The walls were painted in Sherwin-Williams Grecian Ivory using Duration Matte, and the ceilings were finished with Sherwin-Williams CHB.

Why We Use Centurion 2K for Cabinet Refinishing 🎨

Not all cabinet paint is created equal.
