Small grading job but came out great. Ready for the carport!

Anyone looking to put a barn, shed, carport/etc on their property should talk to my friend Denise M. Holcomb at Ascential Buildings.

Another professional grading job complete! This customer had a serious grade that we had to "build up" through layers of fill dirt and compaction with our **vibratory roller**. The challenge with this pad was that the building will be fairly small and we only had access to grade it from 2 of the 4 sides.Plus we had a plumbing obstruction to work-around. Despite these challenges we got 16 tons of fill dirt formed into a nice pad that our awesome customer can put his cool mini-home onto soon!

If you plan to build a shed, a barn, or just want to make better-use of an otherwise-hilly area give us a call!

Another successful pool site-prep! We graded-out a nice (30 x 27) spot for our awesome client's new pool location, rough-spread the sand and moved/leveled their shed at a new location. Voila - sweet pool setup ready to build on!

If you - or someone you know - needs grading/site-prep for a pool, shed, barn, etc - we'd love to help them get that project done fast and professionally!

We're thankful to have been a part of "Dragon"'s burial service today. This is a picture of him from 2021.

So we recently did this small job where we expanded a customer's driveway to afford more room to turn-around, widened a few areas and added another parking area. I failed to take more than 1 "before" picture lol but you get the idea.

Now the customer can more easily navigate the driveway and has more options for parking :)

Another grading project in the books! Our lovely customers in Covington needed a site graded for a metal building they're having added. We knew there was a stump to deal with but oh boy we didn't realize the insane root system this thing had up its sleeves nor the *second* [hidden] stump kept-alive and-connected to the known one. So we had to bring in a proper tool for that monster (excavator). Finally after all that organic craziness was properly removed we got things dialed in and covered with rocks for the concrete vendor coming next. Should be a nice addition to their wonderful setup next to the river.

So yesterday we finished up a 2-day barrage of drainage control mitigation on behalf of the [lovely] owners of Glenburn Farms. The owners are salt-of-the-earth people and we're so grateful to be able to help them catch-up on some maintenance issues.

I was chomping at the bit so bad to dig in that I forgot both *before* AND *after* pics but I believe the owners were quite happy with our work.

Glenburn Farms (in Vinton VA) is a lovely (like over-the-top lovely) venue so check it out!

The skiddy had a day at the spa

So we had a customer with a narrow trail (with a cliff on one side) with rocks on the *wrong side* - thus it could get pretty hairy/scary when pulling a trailer behind his tractor. So we brought in a rock breaker and turned those large rocks into harmless pieces. Turned out great and the customer is happy (was pretty fun too).

Good thing my skid steer work is better than my videoing (sorry these video's are pretty 'eh). The video doesn't do it justice in many ways but also in not capturing the grade (its got some pitch to it).
