Landscape & Garden Specialist – Wild Iris Landscape and Design LLC
Wild Iris Landscape and Design is seeking a motivated, dependable Landscape & Garden Specialist. We specialize in horticulture-focused design and native plant installations, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in thoughtful, high-quality work.
About the Role
This is a semi-autonomous, client-facing position ideal for someone who is self-directed, detail-oriented, and confident in both garden work and communication. You’ll be trusted to manage your time, make informed decisions on-site, and represent the company professionally with clients and community.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain gardens on a weekly/monthly schedule (weeding, pruning, upkeep)
Install garden beds, edging, and native plantings
Assist with or lead design and planting of native landscapes
Move and spread materials (mulch, soil, compost, etc.)
Communicate directly with clients, assess needs, and offer informed recommendations
What We’re Looking For
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
Comfort communicating with clients in a professional, respectful manner
Emotional maturity and sound judgment in decision-making
Interest in horticulture, native plants, and sustainable landscaping (experience preferred but not required)
Physical ability to perform outdoor labor in varying conditions
Compensation
Pay is based on experience.
