Overlay or full replacement? How do you know which is right for your HOA needs?

If the base is solid and it’s surface wear and tear, an overlay does the job for a lot less than tearing it all out. If the base has failed (potholes, deep cracks, drainage issues), sometimes a full install makes sense.

We’ll walk the property with you and help you figure out which one actually fits.

Silage fermentation produces acid — and over time, that acid eats away at concrete. It flakes, and those flakes can cause digestion problems for your herd. Asphalt holds up to it a lot better, costs less to install, and keeps your equipment out of the mud while you're at it. Give us a call for your free estimate.

Fresh asphalt at the AEGON campus in Cedar Rapids!

There’s nothing like a smooth new surface to sharpen up a property. Another commercial paving job wrapped up by the Kluesner paving crew — built to look good and hold up for the long haul. Fresh striping is up next!

Out with the old, in with the smooth. 😎

Nothing upgrades a property quite like ditching the loose gravel for a flawless, long-lasting asphalt surface. Check out this transformation.

Thinking about paving that gravel lane? Here's what our customers tell us made it worth it.

1. Instant curb appeal — a smooth blacktop finish elevates the look of your home, farm, or shop.

2. No more mess — keep mud out of the house, dust off your vehicles, and gravel out of your lawn.

3. No more washouts or regrading — heavy rain runs right off instead of carving ruts, washing away your gravel, or forcing you to regrade the lane after every big storm.

4. Smooth ride — protect your tires and suspension from potholes and uneven ground.

5. Built to last — quality asphalt handles heavy equipment and daily traffic with minimal upkeep.

Local work, free estimates, no pressure.

Give us a call and we'll come take a look.

It was a great week of paving last week in Manchester! More paving completed at Runde and the elementary school.

And yes, that is a Kluesner Sanitation dumpster you spot in the background. Love when our sister companies show up on the same job site ❤️💙

Fresh asphalt, fresh cinnamon rolls — not a bad combo.

This week we completed an asphalt overlay at Bushel & A Peck in Manchester, 401 W Main St.

If you’re in the area, stop by and check out the lot and while you’re there, grab a cinnamon roll. Trust us on this one.

We've had calls to our office from concerned residents, and we want to set the record straight: Kluesner Construction is NOT affiliated with anyone going door to door offering on-the-spot paving services.

This is a known scam circulating in our area.

Please read the Delaware County Sheriff's Office warning below and share it with your neighbors.

Here's how Kluesner Construction actually works:

✅ We send a professional estimator to your property

✅ You receive an official written quote

✅ We schedule your job and show up ready to do it right

We don't knock on doors. We don't offer "leftover asphalt" deals. And we don't take your money and run. We've built our reputation on quality work and that won’t change.

If someone claims to be from Kluesner Construction and is offering you an on-the-spot paving deal — it's NOT us. Please contact the Delaware County Sheriff's Office to report it.

Questions? Want a reputable quote? Call us directly at (563) 744-3422.
