I'm Charlie Grove I have a passion for Tattoos and cars motorcycles most of my life I have background in auto-motives associates degree in welding technology huge fan of old cars and old stuff in general Ive had allot old cars 50's era mostly. I got my first Tattoo in the late 70's and kept going I started Tattooing early in 96 I started to mess around with Tattoo machines and how they they work I

made my own coil winder learned to make springs and modify and make frames My two influences on the machines are Rick Cherry and Zeke Owen both made a big difference in how i learned to tune I do repairs and re builds as well make most of my own parts and out source some theirs allot of good builders out there that make good parts all the spring on my machines I cut by hand and tune and test each one personally

Hey all, My name is Dave, I'm a good friend of Charlie's, and I'll be posting some new photos of machines for him. Right now he has no Internet, so I'll be acting as a go between. Charlie has always worked on machines, but until recently had made his living as a tattoo artist. Cataracts have forced him to rely on machine sales, rebuilds and repair to make money, and he could use a few sales to keep him afloat. His machines are really well built and I've never known an artist that didn't love his unique way of setting up their tools of the trade.
