The Before, During, and After of a great roof replacement. This started as just a hail storm damage analysis and turned into a dream patio. We worked directly with insurance on behalf of the client in order to make sure they got everything they were owed. As we ripped off the roof, we discovered the original 60’s decking that was heavily rotten and disintegrating (insurance also covered the replacement decking).

NOW! They have a vaulted patio with lights, speakers and a ceiling fan. In addition, they have all new upgraded decking and a hail proof roof from Euroshield Rubber Roofing. The Vermont Slate HP has a warranty against hail up to 3”. This really should be the industry standard! Talk about building the right way, these clients are super happy and ready for solar!

Starting the newest renovation next week. Here is the before picture. All new patio and new roof thanks to Euroshield Rubber Roofing. This HP comes with one of the best warranties I’ve ever seen. On top of that, this roof took over 330 tires out of landfills. We are excited to get going. It’s all about building better!

-Heat pump mini-split (home currently has no A/C)

New year! Welcome to 2022!

As we start the new year we will be looking at a studio condo restart. This condo hadn’t been touched since the late 80’s and the seller improperly installed lvt plank on the floor to hide water damage and pretend that the condo had been updated. We will be taking everything down to the studs and building back better with updated electrical, plumbing, a modernized efficient and useful kitchen as well as an industrial look for this modern homeowner. Looking forward to getting this done right!

The consequences and the future!

Being a Colorado home builder we know the real life risks of Mother Nature. High snow packs in winter, winds in the fall, droughts in the summer and the risk of fire year around. As we close out a very difficult year, we send our thoughts to those families that lost their homes in the . These are real risks as we see storms get worse and worse year by year. It’s a daily reminder why we build better. It’s why we think about these tragedies when we plan each home. We will help rebuild better and hope to continue to educate homeowners about building science.
