We’re looking for a Bucket Truck Operator who actually enjoys doing hard things.

You’ll be working 50–100 feet in the air, operating a giant piece of equipment, running a chainsaw, dealing with trees that have spent 40 years trying to kill somebody, and occasionally questioning your life choices.

But then you finish the job, look at the massive pile of wood on the ground, and think:

“Damn. We did that.”

And that’s the part we love.

🌳 THE JOB

* Operate our bucket truck on residential & commercial tree jobs
* Perform tree removals, trimming, and difficult technical work
* Work around houses, fences, power lines, cars, and other expensive things
* Safely operate chainsaws and equipment
* Help lead the crew from the bucket
* Solve problems when trees inevitably refuse to cooperate
* Work outside in the beautiful Indiana weather
* Go home covered in sawdust every day.

💪 YOU SHOULD APPLY IF:

* You know what you’re doing in a bucket
* You don’t know what you are doing in a bucket but are willing to obsess over learning it by watching YouTube videos, asking 100s of questions, and being up in the bucket on day 1 learning it 1 cut at a time (with supervision)
* You aren’t afraid of heights
* You respect how dangerous tree work can be
* You take safety seriously
* You can make good decisions when things get complicated
* You take pride in doing a job right
* You don’t need someone standing over your shoulder all day
* You’d rather be tired at the end of the day because you accomplished something

It’s not every day you get the honor and privilege of taking down the 2nd largest Tulip Poplar in Indiana. This monster came in at roughly 116 ft tall and 7ft in diameter at the base.

The reason it had to be removed was due to a massive wound that was created by a storm which caused it to be compromised with several houses within its reach if it were to fall.

Big or small, we cut them all. 🌳
