Green Edens is a female owned horticultural design/landscaping company whose goal is to re-establish the health and natural balance of the environment while creating spaces of beauty for individuals and communities. We use environmentally friendly sustainable gardening practices and whenever possible the use of native plant material. This encourages the repopulation of local insects, birds and wil

dlife, which brings the natural balance back to our environment. We readily share and pass on specific knowledge to encourage gardening in ways that have a positive impact on our lives as well as to benefit the planet. We hold classes at your specified facility to teach individuals and groups how to grow beautiful organic herb, fruit, vegetable, perennial and annual gardens. Through ongoing formal education and hands-on experience, we continually strive to use the latest and best information to achieve our goals.

Green Edens is deep into the gardening season - enhancing spaces and meeting new clients whose outdoor visions are coming to life. One of the clients who Green Edens was lucky to work alongside is Veda.

Hear directly from Veda on her experience: "It is my pleasure to recommend Amy Dale as an excellent resource for garden design and installation. From our initial contact in May 2020, Amy has been highly professional and a pleasure to work with on a project to design and implement the landscaping of the building lot adjacent to our Park Ridge home following the deconstruction of the house that had occupied the property. Amy listened attentively to my goals during her first visit to the site, and her ability to communicate her vision of a design compatible with the mature trees that shade the property was immediately helpful. Amy demonstrated expertise in offering choices of a great variety of plants, trees, and shrubs appropriate for the soil and light conditions, with an emphasis on creating an environmentally harmonious home for birds and insects. Amy was always prompt about responding to calls or emails, keeping us updated about scheduling details, and thoroughly addressing any questions. Amy sent informative emails filled with pictures and design ideas, providing excellent resources on which to base decisions.

Green Edens is proud to work alongside our clients to bring their visions to reality. Clients become friends. Today we're sharing the experience of Rebecca, who we were so pleased to work with on her garden.

Rebecca's experience, in her words: "Green Edens designed and installed a new perennial garden and fire-pit area in our backyard a few years ago. Amy designed the garden with birds and pollinators in mind, based on my wishes. The process of working with Green Edens and the garden itself exceeded what I could have hoped for. Amy was easy to communicate with and patient during the plant selection process. The installation was seamless and Amy left me with detailed and thoughtful instructions for how to care for the garden. It’s been such a joy to see new things blooming throughout the season and especially to see the birds, bees and butterflies that flock to this part of the yard. To see gold finches perch on the flowerhead of an echinacea plant is really remarkable, and they are now regular visitors to the garden. I’m so happy that we decided to ditch the ugly shrubs and hedge that bordered our property and invest in a beautiful garden instead. Green Edens brought my vision to life beautifully!"
