📋 Thinking about a remodel?

Here's how to make it go smoothly.

A little prep on the front end makes the whole project easier for everyone.

Before the work starts 👇

1️⃣ Know your "must haves" vs. "nice to haves." It helps you make decisions faster later.

2️⃣ Set a realistic budget, and a small cushion. Older homes love to hide surprises.

3️⃣ Clear the space if you can. The easier the access, the smoother the work.

4️⃣ Ask about the timeline up front. Good contractors will give you an honest one.

5️⃣ Pick materials early. Waiting on a backordered tile can hold up everything.

And the biggest one: hire someone who communicates.

A remodel is a partnership, and it goes best when everybody's talking.

🔁 Save this for when you're ready to start.

🚿 Still climbing over a tub wall every single morning?

For a lot of people, that old tub they never actually take baths in is just… in the way.

Taking up space, hard to step over, and honestly a slip risk.

A tub to shower conversion is one of the most popular upgrades we do, and one of the most satisfying. ✨

A VaughnCo tub to shower conversion can mean 👇

🚿 A roomy, walk in tiled shower

🪑 Built in seating and niches

🧱 Safer, slip resistant flooring

✨ A fresh, modern, open feel

More room, more comfort, and a bathroom you actually enjoy using.

Ready to lose the tub?

Let's talk.

👋 When you hire VaughnCo, here's who actually shows up.

Not a call center.

Not a rotating cast of strangers.

Not a rep who's never seen your street.

You get a local family and a hard working crew who take pride in the name on the truck. 🤝

We live here. We're raising our family here.

We run into our customers at the store, at church, at the ballfield.

That's not a marketing line, it's the reason we do the job right.

When your reputation is your actual community, you can't cut corners and you wouldn't want to.

So when we walk into your home, we treat it like we'd want ours treated.

Every time. 🤍

Fast, effective, excellent. We'll take all three. 👇

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from Ray:

💬 "Mark and his crew removed several trees and massive stumps from my yard. They also installed a portion of fence. They did an excellent job, and were fast and effective."

Yard cleared, fence rebuilt, done quickly and done right.

🟫 New floors change the whole feel of a room.

Instantly.

Nothing modernizes a space faster than pulling up tired old flooring and laying something fresh.

But a great floor is about more than the color you pick, it's about the install. 👇

Done right by VaughnCo means 👇

📏 A properly prepped, level subfloor

🚪 Clean, even transitions between rooms

🔲 Tight seams and finished edges

💪 Materials that hold up to real life

We install luxury vinyl plank, tile, and more, and we're often the crew called in to fix a floor someone else rushed.

Either way, you get a floor that looks right and stays right.

Ever left a message for a contractor and just… never heard back?

If you have, you're not alone.

It's one of the most common frustrations we hear, and honestly, it's a big part of how folks end up finding us. 📞

Here's our take: answering the phone isn't a bonus.

It's the bare minimum.

When you reach out to VaughnCo, you get a real person, usually the same people who'll be doing the work.

We call back.

We show up when we say we will.

We tell you the truth about your project, even when it's not what you hoped to hear.

None of that is fancy.

But in this trade, showing up and following through has somehow become rare.

We think it should just be normal.

So if you've been ghosted before, give us a try. We answer. 🤝

💧 Water damage is sneaky.

Here are 5 early signs to catch it before it gets expensive.

The trouble usually starts long before you notice it.

Catch these early and you save yourself a much bigger bill 👇

1️⃣ Stains on ceilings or walls, especially yellow or brown rings

2️⃣ A musty smell that doesn't go away, even when things look clean

3️⃣ Soft or springy spots in the floor

4️⃣ Paint or wallpaper bubbling, peeling, or cracking

5️⃣ Warped trim or baseboards pulling away from the wall

If you spot one of these, don't wait.

The longer water sits, the more it damages behind the scenes.

A quick look now beats a big repair later.

🔁 Save this and keep an eye out.

Not sure exactly what you want?

That's okay.

That's what we're here for. 👇

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from Tom:

💬 "Did good working on the spot because my wife and I had very little information to give him about what we wanted."

A lot of folks feel stuck because they can't quite picture the finished thing. We help you get there, even when you're starting from "we're not really sure."

Thank you, Tom. 🙌
