Another day helping homeowners track down active roof leaks after the recent storms 🌧️🏔️
Today we inspected multiple leak areas caused by exposed fasteners, failing sealant, and improper pipe boot installation that allowed water to slowly make its way into the decking over time.
During the inspection we found: ✔️ Active roof leaks
✔️ Rotted roof decking
✔️ Water staining in the attic
✔️ Failed sealant around exposed fasteners
✔️ Improperly fastened pipe flashing
We were able to temporarily seal the problem areas to help prevent further water intrusion until permanent repairs are completed.
A lot of homeowners don’t realize how quickly a “small leak” can turn into major damage inside the attic and decking. Catching these issues early can save thousands.
And not a bad office view for the day either ⛰️🔨

Another one complete! ✅🏠

Started this roof this morning in Hendersonville and had it completely finished by 1 PM. 💪🔥

This home had a double-layer tear off and we went back with CertainTeed Landmark in Charcoal. The new roof completely changed the look of the home and gave it a much cleaner, updated appearance.

We also installed new ventilation and replaced damaged decking around the chimney while everything was opened up to make sure the roof system was done the right way from start to finish. 👌

Huge shoutout to the crew for knocking this one out safely and efficiently!

🏠 Another roof project started today in Hendersonville, NC! 🔨

This home had a double layer tear-off, so the crew has been hard at work getting everything stripped down properly before installing the new roofing system. 💪

We’ll be going back with CertainTeed Landmark shingles in Charcoal 🖤 which is going to give this home a clean updated look once completed.

A proper tear-off is one of the most important parts of a roof replacement. It allows us to inspect the decking underneath, address any hidden issues, and make sure the new roof is installed the right way from the start. ✅

Customer called us out because their bathroom fan wasn’t venting properly…
Instead of venting outside, it was dumping moisture straight into the attic.
🚫 No proper roof vent
🚫 Air was getting pulled back in through the soffit vents
🚫 Moisture buildup led to mold starting on the roof decking
This is a common issue we see, and it can cause serious damage over time if it’s not fixed.
✅ We installed a proper roof vent
✅ Redirected the bathroom exhaust outside where it belongs
✅ Stopped moisture from building up in the attic
If your bathroom fan is venting into the attic or soffit, it’s only a matter of time before you run into problems.

We completed this one about two weeks ago and finally got back out to grab some drone shots. This home got a full upgrade and the finished product came out clean.
✔️ 40-year architectural shingles
✔️ Metal valleys installed for long-term durability
This roof was replaced due to hail damage through the homeowner’s insurance. The homeowner was only responsible for their deductible.
