Hey everyone! My name is Satchel Rubin, and I’m the owner of Rubin Landscape, based right here in Essex, MA.

You’ve probably seen our trucks around town, but I wanted to take a moment to personally introduce myself and share a little about our company.

What started as a passion for landscaping and working outdoors has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined. Building this company at a young age has come with plenty of challenges, long days, early mornings, and lessons learned along the way, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Today, Rubin Landscape has grown into a dedicated team providing professional landscape construction, property maintenance, snow management throughout the North Shore.

Some of the services we specialize in include:

• Paver patios & walkways
• Retaining walls & granite steps
• Landscape design & installation
• Excavation, grading & drainage
• Lawn installation, sod & hydroseeding
• Weekly property maintenance
• Plantings, mulch & property cleanups
• Residential & commercial snow removal

One thing I’ve always believed is that the quality of our work and the way we treat our customers are what build a successful business. Our goal isn’t just to complete a project, but to build lasting relationships with the homeowners and businesses who put their trust in us.

I’m incredibly grateful for our hardworking crew, our loyal customers, and everyone who has supported Rubin Landscape along the way. We’re continuing to invest in our people, equipment, and services so we can take on bigger projects while maintaining the same attention to detail that got us here.

Whether you’re looking for regular property maintenance or planning a complete outdoor transformation, we’d love the opportunity to work with you.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our small business. We’re just getting started!

From now until the end of October (10/30/26), we're offering 5% off (max discount of $300) your first project with us when you mention this post!

Another beautiful walkway project wrapped up!

Featuring pavers with a charcoal border, custom granite steps, and smooth curves that tie everything together. A complete transformation that adds both curb appeal and functionality to this property.

Built to last and designed to impress!

800 sq. ft. of beautiful Cambridge Pavers Sandstone Lite with a charcoal border. We removed the existing patio, installed new drainage, and built a raised paver area underneath the porch for a future hot tub, finished with cobblestone borders around the landscape beds.

A completely new backyard space from start to finish! Huge thank you to our great clients for trusting us to create a space they can enjoy for years to come.

From a full demolition to the final details, a lot went into bringing this backyard together. Gas lines ran for fire pit and grill by constantinoandcompany , landscape lighting and hot tub electrical by Eric Hamlin Electric , site plans by Yardscape360 , and the hardscape installation completed by our crew at Rubin Landscape.

This project was far more than “just a patio.” Before a single paver was laid, we completed extensive excavation and site preparation while coordinating gas, electrical, drainage, and the future hot tub installation.

Projects like this are why planning matters. Working with quality products from ROBCON , trusted subcontractors, and a detailed plan before the machines ever break ground is what allows us to build outdoor spaces that are made to last.

Thank you to our clients for trusting Rubin Landscape with the transformation of their backyard. We hope their family enjoys it for many years to come!

A complete transformation from start to finish.

We removed the old, overgrown walkway and completely rebuilt the space with a new paver walkway, fresh loam, clean bed lines, and new mulch, while working around the existing landscape and natural boulders.

This is why we love what we do 💪🔥 Swipe to see the transformation

This backyard started with an aging flagstone patio that had reached the end of its life.

We completely rebuilt the space with a new paver patio, engineered retaining walls, granite steps, proper drainage, and built-in seating to create an outdoor area the homeowners can enjoy for years to come.

Seeing projects like this come together makes all the hard work worth it.

Thank you to our clients for trusting Rubin Landscape with your home.

If you’re a homeowner looking to upgrade your outdoor space this season, we’d love to help.
