A big congratulations to Peter DeSimone for being named Farm Creek Landscaping’s Foreman of the Quarter! 👏

Pete has been putting in the hours, leading the crew, and helping turn our customers’ projects into something we’re proud to put our name on. He’s dependable, works hard, and always keeps the job moving.

Of course, no award ceremony would be complete without mentioning this quarter’s biggest accomplishment…

Another beautiful transformation in the books for Farm Creek Landscaping. 🔥

This project features a custom paver walkway with clean charcoal borders, granite steps, and a stunning Hurtland Granite retaining wall to tie everything together.

We also installed a full drainage system to properly handle roof runoff, directing gutter water into a custom rain garden using pop-up emitters to move water safely away from the home.

We still have a few finishing touches left, including final grading of the flower beds, regrading the yard, and sweeping in the joints with SRW Wet-Loc to lock everything in.

Even with a little left to finish, this one is already shaping up beautifully.

🚨 Farm Creek Landscaping is Hiring – Laborer Position 🚨

We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable laborer to join the Farm Creek crew. Full-time or part-time available.

This position will involve working directly alongside myself or my foreman on a daily basis.

Duties include:
• Assisting with hardscape installations
• Moving materials (stone, pavers, gravel, etc.)
• Site prep and cleanup
• Loading/unloading tools and equipment
• Helping build patios, walkways, retaining walls & masonry projects
• General labor and job site support

What we’re looking for:
• Strong work ethic
• Reliable transportation
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather
• Experience is a plus, but not required—we’ll train the right person

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the hardscape and masonry trade and be part of a solid crew.

Another couple projects wrapped up by Farm Creek Landscaping 🔥

First up was our Endicott Gully’s project, where we installed beautiful Pine Hall pavers to match the existing brickwork and keep everything flowing with the surrounding architecture. Really happy with how seamlessly this blended in with the original look. There is still a lot left to do over here!

Second project was a patio addition using Techo-Bloc Shale Texture Slate. This gave the backyard a clean, modern look while adding plenty of functional outdoor living space.

Two completely different projects, but both built with the same focus—solid base work, clean detail, and quality that lasts.

🔥 Another North Shore project nearly complete! 🔥

This custom walkway was built using beautiful Pepper Mist Granite with matching solid granite steps and granite cobblestone borders for a timeless New England look.

Our installation process included:
✔️ Proper excavation and grading
✔️ Geotextile fabric separation
✔️ Compacted open-graded crushed stone base
✔️ Chip stone setting bed
✔️ Pepper Mist Granite pattern stock
✔️ Granite cobble edging
✔️ SRW WetLock permeable jointing compound for durable, permeable joints

We still have some final grading and a small rain garden to complete, but the hardscape portion is finished and looking great.

At Farm Creek Landscaping, Inc., we believe it’s all about the base. Proper preparation is what allows our projects to stand up to New England’s freeze-thaw cycles while maintaining a clean, natural appearance for years to come.

Another project almost wrapped up. This one took a lot more prep work than expected because nearly half of the area had extremely soft soil underneath. Instead of building over it and risking future settling, we excavated an additional foot deeper in those sections and rebuilt it properly with clean crushed stone base before installing the pavers.

Now we’re down to the final details — fresh loam, finish grading, and repairing a few irrigation lines from excavation.

Really happy with how this patio and driveway extension came out. The charcoal border and clean layout tied the whole area together nicely and should hold up great for New England weather.

Also a big thanks to our new team member for putting in the work and helping get this one across the finish line.
