🌡️ Sometimes the problem isn't visible—but heat doesn't lie.

We recently diagnosed a breaker that was repeatedly tripping, even though the circuit wasn't overloaded.

Using infrared thermal imaging, we confirmed the breaker itself was overheating, allowing us to identify the problem and make the correct repair without unnecessary guesswork.

The photo below shows an infrared inspection similar to the type of testing we perform to identify overheating electrical components.

Infrared inspections can help identify:
✔️ Failing breakers
✔️ Loose electrical connections
✔️ Overheating equipment
✔️ Developing electrical problems before they lead to failures

The right tools help us find the real problem—not just the symptoms.

💡 Thinking about upgrading your lighting? Now may be the perfect time.

Did you know Chelan County PUD still offers rebates on qualifying energy-efficient lighting upgrades? Depending on your project, these rebates can help offset the cost of upgrading to modern LED lighting.

LED lighting offers more than just lower energy bills:
✔️ Improved light quality
✔️ Lower maintenance costs
✔️ Longer fixture life
✔️ Better visibility for your home, shop, or business

Whether you're replacing outdated fixtures in a garage, upgrading a commercial building, or improving the lighting around your home, we'll help you determine what rebate opportunities may be available and handle a professional installation from start to finish.

Have a project in mind? We'd be happy to discuss your options.

⚠️ Before ➡️ After

Not every electrical panel provides the same level of protection.

This home had a Federal Pacific Stab-Lok® panel, which we replaced with a modern electrical panel designed to meet today's safety standards.

Independent testing and investigations found that Federal Pacific Stab-Lok® breakers have a significantly higher failure rate than expected, including documented cases where breakers failed to trip during overloads and short circuits. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission investigated these panels, and although a nationwide recall was never issued due to funding limitations, the documented safety concerns remain. Because of these findings, Federal Pacific panels are widely recognized within the electrical industry as equipment that should be replaced rather than repaired.

If you have a Federal Pacific panel, don't wait until it fails. Replacing it is one of the most important electrical safety improvements you can make to an older home.

If you're not sure what type of panel you have, we'd be happy to take a look.
