🏡 A front porch should feel welcoming before anyone ever reaches the door.

Big thank you to Ms. Kesseler for allowing us the opportunity to transform her front porch! We recently completed this Resin Rock transformation for Ms. Kesseler’s home in Enterprise. Her porch and steps were resurfaced in the Beverley Minster blend, giving the entrance a warmer, more finished appearance while working beautifully with the existing colors of the home. ✨

Projects like this are a great example of how an aging concrete surface can be refreshed without completely changing the character of the house. 🔨

We’ve been a little quiet lately… but that’s because we’ve been busy building.

If you’ve noticed we haven’t posted much recently, don’t worry—we’re still here!

The past few weeks have been filled with job sites, shop work, planning, and bringing some really unique outdoor projects to life. While we haven’t had much time to share updates, we’ve been hard at work creating spaces our clients will enjoy for years to come.

The recent rain has me thinking about why I became interested in Resin Rock in the first place.

This is actually my outdoor kitchen floor.

When humidity and temperature conditions are just right, the concrete begins to sweat. It can become surprisingly slick, especially with kids running around.

That’s one of the reasons I started researching Resin Rock and permeable surface systems.

A common misconception is that Resin Rock is always 100% fully permeable.

If it’s installed over existing concrete, the concrete underneath still blocks water movement but fixes the sweating and water pooling to a degree.

However, when installed as a complete system using our RockCrete permeable base, water can flow through the surface, substrate and into the ground below.

🌧️ The rain we’ve been getting lately reminded me of a problem I deal with at my own home.

The first few photos were taken in my outdoor kitchen after a period of heavy rain and humidity.

If you’ve ever experienced concrete “sweating,” you know how slick it can become. As a father, seeing moisture and puddles form on surfaces where my children walk and play has always concerned me.

This space used to be small, outdated, and barely functional.
