Benson Farms

Hi there, I am Will! I grew up gardening with my parents and really took off casual gardening as an adult.

I have always been interested in growing and saving seeds, but in 2020 I got serious about it because they were hard to find in stores. I am especially passionate about saving and collecting rare heirloom varieties. I am always continuing to try to expand my collection and growing new varieties to increase my own seed bank. If you have any specific stories about your favorite heirloom varieties, I'd love to hear them.

Hello friends of Benson Farms! A heads up and exciting announcement: Farmer Anya is getting her Master's degree in education this summer! It's gonna be a hectic season! We will still have seedlings for sale soon, but stock will be more limited this year than in previous seasons. Because of probable water restrictions, we will be focusing on some more drought tolerant varieties this year. Farmer Will is starting an informal waiting/mailing list, so if you're interested in getting notified the very instant tomatoes go on sale, drop your name in the comments!
