Two weeks ago we retrofited a SmartFlower with the Sol-Ark 12k Hybrid Battery inverter and with 10kWh of energy storage.
Since the system is turned on the house has only consumed solar energy produced by the SmartFlower and stored in the batteries to be used at night.
The hybrid system is selling back the excess solar energy to the utility as soon the batteries are recharge.
The Sol-Ark system also will provide back up power when the grid fails.
