“That color looked darker in your photos…”
This is exactly why lighting matters when choosing paint colors. These photos show the same space under three different lighting conditions: recessed LEDs, standard 60W bulbs, and just a lamp casting shadows, and the difference is huge.
The colors are Tony Taupe paired with Greenblack, with Greenblack creating the dark accent wall at the back of the room. Putting the darker color there helps draw your eye through the space and gives the room a longer, more dramatic look.
And Greenblack might be one of my favorite colors to work with. Depending on the lighting, it can shift from deep blue-green tones to nearly pitch black.
