We started the morning with 3 lawn renovation jobs, including Harley raking, grading, screened topsoil, and hydroseeding. We finished the day by demolishing a concrete porch with the hydraulic hammer on our Bobcat E50.

I bought this hammer about a year ago and finally got to put it to work. I’m glad I made the investment. Having the right equipment makes a huge difference in how efficiently we can get a job done and the end result we can deliver to our customers.

Two house demolitions this week, and our A team handled business!

Today, we took down a 2,200 sq. ft. house for an awesome repeat customer. We hauled away 30 yards of tires and removed the foundation, concrete, and trees to get the property completely cleaned up.

After the concrete work, we brought in 3 loads of screened topsoil, spread it, and raked everything out. Once the irrigation is installed, we’ll be back to hydroseed and finish the job off right.

Three different lawns we hydroseeded are already coming in, and they’re looking great.

And here’s something you can’t always see in a picture — the grading underneath that grass matters. There isn’t a puddle or a spot of standing water on any of these three jobs. Proper grading isn’t just smoothing dirt out and calling it a day. You have to know how to move the water and build the grade correctly.

We’ve been doing this long enough to know what works — we’re not practicing on your property.
