It drives me (us) C R A Z Y when people don't follow through with what they say they are going to do. And, it's one of the easiest ways to lose a customer!

If you say you'll call Tuesday, call Tuesday. If you promise a report by tomorrow, get it there tomorrow. And if something changes, pick up the phone and tell them.

Things happen. Most customers understand that.
What they don't like is having to chase you for an answer.

I've found that building long-term client relationships isn't all that complicated. Do good work, communicate, and follow through.

Sounds simple. But you'd be surprised how often it doesn't happen.

The longer I’ve been in business, the less impressed. I am by complexity.

Somewhere along the way, businesses started believing that complicated equals professional…

Long reports. Industry jargon. Extra steps. More meetings. I think we’ve got it backwards.

The businesses I respect most don’t make things more complicated. They make them easier to understand, navigate, and trust.

I found that when people understand what’s happening, they make better, more confident, decision decisions
