A little home inspiration for you from one of our cabinet + interior painting projects 🏠

This project pairs Sherwin-Williams Ivory Lace (SW 7013) with the depth of Anchors Aweigh (SW 9179), creating a refined palette that carries from the cabinetry to the walls throughout the home. Thoughtful color choices. Detailed craftsmanship. A finished space designed to feel cohesive from room to room.

“Why does my paint look different on my walls than in store?”

Lighting is crucial. It can completely change how a color appears throughout the day. Before committing, test your favorites in your space and see how they look in both natural and artificial light.

Caulk might not be the star of the show, but it's one of the most important steps before a single coat of paint goes on. ☀️

Our exterior painters take sealing seriously because gaps around door frames and windows let in moisture, drafts, and eventually damage. On a bright fall day like this one, the crew at Five Star Painting of SW Minneapolis is out doing the prep work that separates a quick paint job from a professional painting company result. As a painting contractor serving the southwest metro, every residential painting project starts with cleaning, scraping, caulking, and priming before quality Sherwin-Williams and Behr finishes go on.

Why prep matters this time of year:
✔ Sealed frames keep winter moisture out
🏡 Smooth surfaces mean a cleaner, longer lasting finish
🖌️ Two-year warranty on every completed project

If you're a homeowner in Edina or the surrounding area looking for a house painter who sweats the small stuff, we'd love to take a look at your place. Get your free estimate online in under two minutes.
