You are the only full-time office staff. There will be other employees in and out of the office occasionally, but you need to be okay with working primarily alone on a daily basis. composing invoicing and estimates

math skills to be able to spot errors in computations
ability to fix minor problems in the office setting

You need to be professional, self-directed, good customer relations, organizational and problem-solving skills. Most importantly you need to have a teachable attitude and be willing to learn new things. We are looking for a minimum of 1 year experience where you were solely in charge of running an office. Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel a plus.

Job Opening--

We are looking to fill the position of office assistant. In this position, you will be an assistant to our office manager that runs our lawn and landscape office. We would like for you to have some experience working in an office setting, but it is not necessary since we will be training you in the jobs you will be asked to perform. This is a small office and there will not be a lot of interaction with other employees, except for our office manager. There will be other employees in and out of the office occasionally, but you need to be okay with working primarily alone on tasks.

Your role will include, but is not limited to the following duties:

answering phones
calling clients that are past due on payment
responding to emails
logging items into computer
miscellaneous tasks given by office manager

For this position, we are offering 20 to 25 hours a week. The hours can be flexible to your schedule within reason. Our office is open from 8 to 5, so the hours would need to be worked within that window and those hours needs to be set each week. You need to be professional, have good customer relations and have organizational and problem-solving skills.
