Tall grass can hide fleas, ticks, p**p surprises, weeds, sticks, and whatever mystery item your dog found before you did. Keeping your lawn cut makes the yard safer, cleaner, and easier to check before the zoomies begin.

There’s a difference between just cutting grass and actually caring about the work you do.

I’ve never believed in rushing through yards just to get to the next house. I take pride in making sure things are done right, taking the extra minute to clean up, trim carefully, and leave a property looking better than when I arrived.

I also still believe in simple things like fair pricing, handshake quotes, keeping my word, and treating customers with respect. If something changes, I’ll talk to you first. No surprises.

Half the time, my favorite part of the job is just talking with people for a few minutes and asking how their day is going. That’s what being a local small business is all about to me.

As a small business, your reputation matters more than any one job.

If unexpected work comes up after a quote is given, the right thing to do is stop, communicate with the customer, and have a conversation before changing the price. A quote should never suddenly jump after the work is already completed without the homeowner agreeing to it first.

Most customers are understanding when there is honest communication:
“Hey, this cleanup is heavier than expected because of ___ . Here are the options and updated cost before we continue.”

That gives the homeowner a choice and keeps trust intact.

Dumping debris back onto someone’s property, threatening messages, or handling disputes emotionally hurts not only that company’s reputation, but small local businesses as a whole.

Good business is built on:
• Clear communication
• Fair pricing
• Respect for people’s property
• Standing behind your word
• Professionalism even during disagreements

A handshake and honesty still matter. That is what keeps customers coming back and recommending you to friends and family.

Quick lawn tip for this time of year:
Cutting your grass too short can actually stress it out and lead to brown spots and weeds. Keeping it a little taller helps shade the soil, hold moisture better, and keeps the lawn looking thicker and greener heading into summer.

Fresh stripes, clean edges, and healthy grass make a huge difference. Appreciate everyone supporting a local small business this season.

Another yard cleaned up and looking good for the week.

I really appreciate all the support from everyone who has shared my posts, referred friends, or trusted me with their lawns. I take a lot of pride in the details and treating every yard like it’s my own.

No big crews flying through the neighborhood. Just honest work, sharp lines, and a lawn you’ll actually enjoy looking at when you pull into the driveway.
