It's been a while since we've made a post... and there's a good reason for that.

This time of year is our Super Bowl. The schedule is packed, the crews are spread across multiple states, the trucks are racking up miles, and the coffee/red bull consumption has reached levels that should probably be studied.

If you've been trying to get ahold of us, we're not ignoring you—we're probably hanging off a drill rig, installing wells, chasing groundwater, or arguing with a boulder that refuses to cooperate.

We're incredibly grateful for the continued trust from our clients and partners. Thank you for keeping us running wild this season!

Now, if you'll excuse us... there's another hole that isn't going to drill itself.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from all of us at Parratt-Wolff! 🇺🇸

This Fourth of July is especially meaningful as we celebrate 250 years of the United States of America—a remarkable milestone honoring the freedoms, opportunities, and resilience that have shaped our nation.

As we take a well-earned break from the job sites this holiday weekend, we'd like to thank our employees, clients, partners, and their families for being part of the Parratt-Wolff team. We hope everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing weekend filled with family, friends, and great memories.

And one friendly reminder... please celebrate responsibly. We'd love to see everyone back at work next week with all 10 fingers still attached! 😄

This post is a little overdue, but we wanted to recognize some outstanding work by our New York shop mechanic and the crew who helped along the way.

Recently, they completed an in-house rebuild of one of our workhorses—a Geoprobe 6712DT. The project included all new hydraulic hoses throughout, a fresh paint job, and replacement of several panels that had simply reached the end of their service life.

The results speak for themselves. The rig looks fantastic and operates like new again.

A big thank you to everyone involved. Their attention to detail, hard work, and pride in their craftsmanship brought this machine back to life.

We put our equipment through some tough conditions every day, and this rebuild is a testament to the durability and quality of Geoprobe rigs. When you work a machine as hard as we do, a rebuild every now and then is just part of the process.

Great job, team!

This Father's Day, Parratt-Wolff would like to recognize and thank all the fathers on our team and throughout our industry.

Many of our employees spend long days, weeks, and sometimes months away from home, traveling to project sites all along the Eastern United States to provide the quality drilling services our clients depend on. The dedication, hard work, and sacrifices these fathers make for both their families and our company do not go unnoticed.

We also want to recognize the fathers who helped shape the men and women we work alongside every day. Their guidance, work ethic, and values continue to influence the next generation both at home and in the workplace. In many ways, the dads on our team are honoring the lessons taught by their own fathers while creating a legacy for their children.

To all the dads balancing family life, long hours, and life on the road—thank you for everything you do. And to the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who helped pave the way, we are grateful for the example you set.

Last week, a couple of our team members had the opportunity to attend drilling school with GEFCO in Conroe, Texas—and it did not disappoint.
The course was led by experienced professors from Fleming College, bringing a wealth of real-world knowledge and technical expertise. Training covered a wide range of topics including fluid rotary drilling, air rotary drilling, uphole velocity, and much more.
What stood out most was the depth of knowledge shared—not only from the instructors, but also from fellow students who brought years of hands-on experience to the table. It’s a great reminder that no matter how long you’ve been in the field, there’s always something new to learn—whether it’s picking up valuable tips and tricks or refining the proper way to do things.
This is a highly recommended course for anyone in the drilling industry. We’ve been sending team members for years and will continue to do so. With two classes offered annually, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Today the Parratt Wolff NY crew powered through high winds 🌬️ and the occasional snow squall ❄️, all while working against a truly picturesque backdrop—when we could actually see it ⛰️👀.
It was a cold 🥶, windy, and snowy day up on the hill, but the crew stayed locked in, pushed through, and we're getting it done 💪🚧.

(I didn't get pictures of the other three crews working hard with one of our CME 850Xs and our 550X. I'm sure I'll hear about it 😆)
