We love to work local. Here are some updates and behind the scenes pics of the portico rebuild we are doing in Northport village for an amazing family. The original structure and stone work was in terrible Shape and needed to be rebuilt. We are big on preserving the original home as much as possible and keeping the details historically correct. The guys at Koran Landscape Services built a great new base and we jacked the structure back to level. The old framing was out of level and actually was not a true 1/2 circle. Years of settling made it oblong. We fixed the framing, fascia, crown and had new mahogany t&g beadboard made to match the existing 100 yr old material. The new columns will go in after the stone work is complete. We also had to jack up the front due to rot (no flashing at door). Thank you to our loyal Silver Fox family customers for their repeated trust in us to make their homes beautiful again.

Northport village. This statement holds true for all of long island. Poor flashing or no flashing will lead to carpenter ants, termites, water damage and wood rot. Hire licensed and insured companies who do the right job. Your home is probably the most expensive investment you will ever make. Doing the job correctly once will give you piece of mind.

We installed these beautiful book shelves built by one of our favorite partners Urban Specialty Woods. We love custom work. The homeowners were fantastic to work with and we look forward to some more great projects with them.

Prep for some big custom beam wraps and posts. This is going to be a beautiful master suite in Lloyd Harbor. We were brought into this project late. We are helping the homeowners get the beautiful look they have been dreaming of.

Hi All, one of our favorite customers is selling their summer house in Montauk. It's .88 acres 4 bedroom 3.5 bath, mahogany deck, outdoor shower. 10 yr old roof, new septic, ac, walk to the lake. Plus a bunch of other stuff. 2.4m It goes on the market in a few weeks. If your interested before it goes to a realtor let me know.

We wrapped up these 2 kitchens this week. It's a parent /daughter duo. We removed the oak cabinets from the parents home to update the kitchen to the new white and blue shaker cabinets. They asked if we could possibly put the saved cabinets in their daughter's home. After measuring and coming up with a layout that would work we built a custom cabinet on site to match. Made new plant molding and had custom oak crown made to match. Some of it was tricky but it came out great and saved the customer probably around 30k on all new cabinets.
