We just wrapped up the rough at our Merrymount project in Quincy, MA. A new addition was created to add a new half bath, family room, mud room and pantry on the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor a beautiful primary bedroom and primary bathroom was added. In the existing spaces the kitchen is getting a completely remodel as well as the a 2nd floor bathroom. A lot of effort goes into rewiring these older houses and bringing up to today’s electrical code standards. We take a lot of pride when installing our work. The wiring is neat, organized and is routed precisely in the structure to work around different mechanical systems and obstacles. We photograph every wall and ceiling before drywall goes up to have it documented for the finish phase of the project and for the homeowner to use for any future alterations of the home!

We performed an emergency 200 amp electrical panel replacement due to severe corrosion. We relocated the panel away from the water pipes, added a new grounding system, and installed a new circuit for the electric dryer. It was a one-day job, but the homeowners are happy with their brand new electrical panel that is safe and functional for many years to come!

Big electrical upgrade at our Quincy renovation! We swapped out the old 100 amp service for a new 200 amp overhead service and installed a modern 200 amp panel with tons of space for future needs. Just passed our inspection and now on to the inside of the house!

Some smaller projects completed in the past couple weeks.

1. Installed 2 new decorative sconces on a timer for a business in Bridgewater.

2. Installed 3 new low voltage pendant lights above a kitchen peninsula in Newton.

3. Installed a new quiet Panasonic exhaust fan in bathroom.

4. Installed a uffer ground for a foundation for an addition being built in Quincy.

5. Replaced some led wall pack lights for a business in Hanson.

6. Installed a new Ring flood light for a customer in Pembroke.

Here are some pictures of two recently installed electric heaters at a home in Newton. The first was installed in an office/guest room. This room is quite drafty with a large glass door and windows so the heater was added to supplement the existing heat for cold days. We installed it online the ceiling due to the limited wall space. However we did install the programmable thermostat in the book case to hide it as it won’t be used very often. The other heater was installed in the master bathroom. We used a timer switch to control this heater as it will only be used when the bathroom is being used.

Here’s a throwback to an outdoor living space project completed this past summer in Hingham for This project had the following electrical items.

-100 amp sub panel to accolade new electrical circuits.
-50 amp circuit for a hot tub off of the deck.
-Low voltage lighting in the outdoor shower.
-Outdoor tv with a storm shell case for year round use.
-Conduit runs to the yard for future golf simulator.
-Circuits for gas grill on the deck and fire pit.

Looking forward to doing more outdoor projects this coming spring and summer!

Installed a new 100 amp panel in a garage today. Then installed a new 50 amp circuit for a car charging receptacle outlet for the customers new electric car. We also added two 20 amp circuits in the garage for workshopping and a spare fridge and freezer. Also installed surge protection in the main panel to protect electronics and devices from potential damage from power surges or lighting strikes.

Just finished a lighting project at restaurant in Hanson! We installed three high-wattage LED lights in the lower parking lot, with two on the building illuminating the stairway and a new 15ft pole light in the back corner. This really helps brighten up the area and ensures safety during busy nights. All the lights are built to withstand New England's harsh weather. Next time you're in the area, grab a pizza and check out the new lights!

A customer in Scituate showed me her least favorite part of her kitchen. They were these old fashioned ivory pop up outlets. She said she used them a lot but wished they were white and blended into the countertop instead. After some research and many measurements, I found a solution. Not only are they white, but they match the existing size of what was there. Now when she looks out the window to see the view, the outlets aren’t a distraction!

Here are a few pictures of some recent interior lighting projects.

1: Dining room that I relocated an existing ceiling light to be centered over the table.

2: Stairwell with two new cool round backlit wall sconces to illuminate a previously dark bottom area.

3: Office with library lights, small recess art lights, and a decorative ceiling light. All able to be controlled separately depending on the mood you want in the room.

4: Living room with new recessed lighting that had no lighting before. The new lighting makes the room much more useable.

5: New porch addition with a ceiling fan at the peak.

6: Kitchen with new led under cabinet lighting.
