I'm Jered, owner of Durango Animal Removal and Pest Control, I've called Colorado home for about 15 years.

I've always loved wildlife and the outdoors. Working in and spending time in this landscape gives you a real respect for the animals that live here which is exactly why I take this work seriously.

After serving in the military I took that same work ethic and sense of duty and poured it into building something of my own right here in Southwest Colorado. Four years later, Durango Animal Removal and Pest Control is built on one simple principle, show up, do the job right, and treat every customer's property like it's your own.

We inspect homes for rodent intrusions and seal outs nearly everyday, you'd be surprised what we find...

Most people have no idea how many ways rodents and wildlife can get into a structure. A gap the size of a dime is all a mouse needs.
Here are some of the most common things we find in a typical home.

🕳️ Open pipe penetrations where plumbing or conduit enters a structure, gaps are almost always present a classic rodent highway.
🏠 Roofline and soffit gaps. Squirrels and mice exploit deteriorating wood, open vents, and where the roofline meets the wall.
🚪 Garage door gaps. An uneven or worn garage door seal leaves a gap at the corners that rodents walk right through.
🪵 Foundation cracks and weep holes common in older Durango-area construction and are typically small, overlooked, and heavily used by mice.
🦝 Uncapped crawl space vents are open invitations for raccoons, skunks, and rodents to set up a den under your home.
🔧 AC and utility line entry points or wherever something enters the building from outside, there's usually a gap that was never properly sealed.
If you're hearing scratching, finding droppings, or just want to know what's going on start with an inspection.
