Today, for me, is a day I take time to appreciate all the skills and knowledge my father has passed down to me over the years. From wood working, to remodeling, and conquering Minnesota’s lakes and forests, my father was my inspiration and motivation to become the person I am today.
In 2017 we spent nearly 400 hours building this Chestnut Prospector canoe together. Over that time my proficiency in the fine wood working department exponentially increased. We used tools and techniques that I did not even know existed and it paid off! Scroll through the photos to see some of the steps taken to build this beautiful canoe.
Thank you, Dad, for being such an instrumental figure in my life to this day. I look forward to all our future projects together and to absorb as much of your knowledge as possible.
