Last week we replaced an upper level deck that had pulled loose from the house structure. We are posting before and after pics so that we can show what can happen when flashing is not installed between the deck and structure. In this instance, the lack of proper flashing caused the ledger board to fail and deck to collapse. Once we removed the old material, we were able to build this new all wood deck with aluminum balusters.

We just finished up this little gem. Our customers just love matching this Fiberon Bungalow decking with keylink aluminum railing. We pride ourselves on building to each customers needs. We offer custom wood and composite deck designs and also install privacy and decorative fencing. All materials for this custom build were provided by South Side Lumber. As always we put our Dewalt tools through the grind everyday.

We had the privilege to build this ground level design. This beautiful Deckorators Saltwater deck flows from the driveway, around the garage entrance and across the back of the house. Built to give this homeowner a level walking surface from the house to their vehicles along with a nice evening sitting area. We chose Southside Lumber for our Deckorators composite decking and our Dewalt tools helped us build this beautiful outdoor space.

The combination of brown decking with black railing and black under deck creates a visually appealing aesthetic. To enhance the overall ambiance, the customer opted for low voltage lighting on post caps and stair risers.
