I woke up Saturday morning and found more damages done to my Aussie and waterlily varieties. I think I cried more over eaten and viral dablias this year than I did for the past 2 years combined.

I've been proactive in using fencing, bricks, sprays, traps to keep critters out of my garden but unfortunately
Mother Nature is trying to teach me patience and humble my behind.

Grow bags are no longer safe to grow dahlias in. I need more raised beds with protective covering to keep Mr.Groundhog and friends out.

Thank goodness for a supportive spouse who realized that my plant babies are important to me. Even if he can't remember all 100,000 dahlia names, he can still be my Garden Sugar Daddy. 😅
Nothing hotter than a man with garden supplies and plants. Ladies, tag your husbands!

2027 will be all Vego raised beds and covers.

I'm standing slightly in front of the celosias and cosmos. They're 6 ft plus. Direct sow in 5 gallon grow bags.

Serious moody red, great for fall arrangements. This is first bloom and she's already near perfect. I just need her to look up for me! 😅
