Our strawberries have started thriving since I weeded them! 🍓

And then there were the tiniest buds! I was starting to lose a little bit of hope that these new grape vines weren’t going to do anything. But hope is restored! 🤗

Our farm stand is coming along nicely! Thanks to this guy! I should be able to paint and stain soon! And then we can start putting out yummy baked goods and eventually fresh produce from the garden🤍

10 of the chicks got to take a field trip outside tonight!
Hopefully tomorrow with the nice weather we can take more out!

Someone figured out how to unzip the green house and started pulling plants and eating them 🙃
This chick is going to give me grey hair.

I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Jen and I’m a mama of two, living a slower, more intentional life as a stay-at-home mom and building our little homestead along the way.

What started as a desire to nourish my family well has turned into a deeper journey—learning how to grow our own food, care for animals, live more naturally and create a home that feels peaceful and full of purpose. I’m still learning every day (lots of trial and error over here!), but I love sharing the process—the wins, the messes, and everything in between.

I also went to pastry school, and I’m so excited to bring that part of my life into our homestead—especially through creating and selling homemade gluten-free baked goods.

We’re working toward opening a small farm stand where we’ll offer organic produce from our garden alongside those baked goods—something I’m truly excited to share with our community 🤍

Around here you’ll find simple meals (gluten-free), bits of motherhood, life with little ones, and our steps toward a more natural, self-sufficient lifestyle.
