For all of my friends that own a business you may be unaware that there was a new law passed which requires you to file a BOI form and register your business prior to 1/01/25. It has supposedly been set up to combat money laundering. You only have to do this once per entity. Only sole proprietorships are exempt. IF YOU DO NOT FILE IT IS A $500 PER DAY FINE CAPPED AT $10,000 PER ENTITY. You better believe that you wont hear anything until you get a $10k fine in the mail. The feds have done an awful job making everyone aware. Also there are third parties trying to take advantage by charging $500 to file per entity. FILING ONLINE IS COMPLETELY FREE IF YOU USE THE GOVERNMENT SITE AND ONLY TAKES ABOUT 5 MINUTES. I hope this helps some of you out there. THIS IS NOT A PRANK. I have added the link below.
