I turned up to this job to see what someone called a finished job in the first picture.😱. Did a full proper sand and finished it properly. It’s not a perfect new floor look but the floor was very old and heavily stained. The end result was still very pleasing and it still had an aged look to it. The customer was very happy with the second attempt. The lesson here is buy cheap buy twice. Be sure your floor sander know what he’s doing and has the right kit to do the job.

This is another nice job I did recently.
A dust free sand on a an oak block floor. Sanded, joints all filled then sanded again. Primed with a Nordic white primer then finished off with ultra matt super hard wearing polyurethane finish.

I did a nice little one floorboards resand last week. Pine boards often have quite a bit of red in them. With clear polyurethane finishes it’s often better to use a Nordic white primer. This dulls down the redness to more muted tones. When finished off with two coats of clear Matt polyurethane finish it produces a very nice looking pine floor.

I recently did a sanding job on a 60’s pine tongue and groove floor. The usual dust free sand and three coats of Floorcoat Nordic white polyurethane finish. It has a terrific flat matt oiled look. If you’re after a pale Nordic look this finish works really well on oak floors too.
