There’s been plenty happening behind the scenes since our last update on this church conversion project, so here’s a sneak peek at one of the latest stages.

Underfloor heating has been installed by cutting precision channels into the existing floor screed before the heating pipes were laid. Another fantastic installation by JK floorheating.

We’ll be sharing more of this unique conversion over the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for future updates.

At this property, part of the building sits below ground level, so to meet Building Standards, we brought in the team at Maclennan Waterproofing to design, supply and install a waterproofing system.

The system uses a perimeter drainage channel to collect any water that enters behind the wall membrane, directing it safely into the surface water drainage. This helps create a dry, protected space for years to come.

Once the project is complete, this system will be hidden from view, but it’s an essential part of ensuring the new extension performs exactly as it should.
