🌱 JACK-O'-LANTERN PUMPKIN UPDATE! 🌱

Look what decided to greet us this morning! 🥰 After spotting our very first two closed flower buds yesterday, we woke up today to this absolutely stunning bloom wide open.

It looks like the boys are arriving first! 👦🧡 Since there isn't a tiny pumpkin starting at the base, these look like male flowers, which is completely normal for early season pumpkin plants. They show up first to get the local pollinators' attention, and they are definitely catching ours!

There is nothing quite like seeing that vibrant orange contrast against the big green leaves. Now we wait for the female flowers to arrive so we can get some real pumpkins growing! 🎃✨

Good morning, fellow gardeners! 🌧️💚

Take a look at the garden crew soaking it all in this morning! There is absolutely nothing quite like looking out at a freshly drenched garden knowing Mother Nature just took care of our biggest chore for the week.

Between yesterday's intense storms and the steady rain continuing into today, we got a massive amount of water. The soil is completely saturated, which means I can officially put away the watering can—these plants won't need a single drop from me for probably a whole week!

Potted plants love a good natural rainwater flush, but I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the drainage saucers today so they don't get completely waterlogged.
