Everyone, please meet Karen. 👋🏼

Karen is hot. Karen is a badass. Karen apparently woke up one day and decided, “Yeah, I’m going to spend my day covered in concrete dust.” 😂

She’s out here on her hands and knees, working the concrete like she’s got something to prove—and honestly, we’re not sure who gave her permission to look this good while doing it.

But don’t let the looks fool you. Karen is tough as hell. 💪🏼 She gets dirty, gets the job done, and somehow makes the rest of us look like we’re not working hard enough. 😂

So here’s to Karen—beautiful, badass, and probably wondering why she agreed to this job in the first place.

At this point, I’ve posted so many curbing jobs that I’m running out of things to say. 😂

So… LOOK AT THIS CURBING. 🤎

This one was in Mt. Auburn, IL and features our Sayhiti Stone stamp with a Cobblebuff base color and a mix of Walnut, Rustic Brown, and Slate Grey antiquing powders.

It turned out really good.

I could probably write 14 more sentences about how the colors complement the home, how the stamp adds texture, blah blah blah…

But honestly, you guys can see it. 😂

It’s pretty. We like it. The homeowners like it. Everybody wins.

And now I’m going to go stare at my camera roll and figure out how many more ways I can say “here’s another gorgeous curbing job.” 😂

It is with great sadness that we regret to inform you that Charli, Head of Pawlity Control, is still cute as a button… but regretfully, not any brighter. 🐶

Just last week, she faked an injury but was immediately caught when she ran full speed for a piece of steak. 🥩

She has also been hit by a car TWICE because apparently trying to herd moving vehicles is more important than her own personal safety. We thought getting hit by a car once might convince her to stop herding them.

It did not.

That’s the Australian Shepherd in her. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

So while we love this little menace more than anything, we would GREATLY appreciate any tips for keeping this jerk in her yard.

And before anyone suggests an invisible fence… she’s smart enough to hop that too.

Turns out, she’s actually pretty smart.

Just in extremely inconvenient ways. 😂

Casablanca Cobble stamped curbing has been an absolute HIT this year! 🤎✨

Side note though… aren’t our client’s zinnias gorgeous?! 🌸 She had such a great eye for them and had a massive garden full of them out back. Seriously, we were a little jealous lol.

These clients wanted a stamp that popped but still complemented their lovely home. They chose our Casablanca Cobble stamp, an earthy tan base color, and sandy beige and brown antiquing powders to bring everything together.

We left with happy customers and some great pictures of course lol 📸🙌🏼

Okay, so Blue Mound Park District posted us… so we think we can share this project too lol 👀

We had the honor of curbing around Blue Mound Wise Park! 🌳 The park district also invested in new benches and power washing the playground—it’s awesome to be part of a community that truly works to keep things beautiful. ❤️

For this project, we went with a curb style that complements the mulch and keeps a more rustic, natural feel. Now the park doesn’t have to worry about shifting wood timbers or kids getting splinters—just a clean, durable edge that holds up to all the fun. 🙌🏼

Colors: Sierra Slate base powdered with Slate Grey and Walnut Brown
Pattern: Stamped with our River Rock design 🪨

And P.S. 👀 peep the toad! His name was Thaddeus and we tried to hire him as our official mascot… but he had prior engagements. That’s show biz, baby. 🐸😂

We love projects like this—helping make our local spaces safer, cleaner, and a little more beautiful at the same time. 💪🏼

Sorry we’ve been a little absent! 👋🏼 Not sure if you guys heard, but we opened the brick-and-mortar Luka Popcorn Co.this past week! 🍿

We opened a small storefront in Blue Mound in a former gaming parlor—and honestly, it’s perfect. ❤️

It’s been a very long labor of love, and as Luka Curbing’s social media manager, I’ll admit… I’ve been slacking. 😂 Between getting the new store up and running and everything that comes with opening a business, social media has definitely taken a backseat!

But to our curbing clients—no worries! We haven’t missed a beat when it comes to getting your curbing projects completed (as long as the weather cooperates, of course 😉).

So, I’m officially getting back on the social media train! 🚂

I know I’m supposed to be professional… but I am 100% jealous of this client’s curbing. 🤷‍♀️😂

We installed our Marble stamp and chose colors that perfectly complement her beautiful brick home. The finished product ties everything together and gives the landscaping such a warm, timeless look.

Our client was thrilled… and so were we. Although, if I’m being honest, our excitement may have been just a little bit of jealousy. 😉

We’ve had the pleasure of completing several projects for Dawn—and even one at her daughter’s home. She has an incredible eye for color and design, making her home feel cozy, private, and welcoming.

For this project, we installed our Natural Slate decorative curbing in a Burnt Brick color to perfectly match her existing curbing.
