⛈️ STORM SATURDAY ⛈️

Wind doesn’t have to rip your roof off to cause serious damage. Missing shingles, lifted flashing, and cracked seals are all it takes to let water destroy your home from the inside out.
If your neighborhood got hit — even if it looks fine from the ground — get it checked. 👀

We do FREE inspections and we know exactly what the insurance companies look for. 🏠💪

⚠️ Looks like the SPC updated the Risk area and levels for tonight’s storms.

Right now we’re sitting on potential for:
💨 damaging winds,
🌪️ small risk of tornadoes
🧊 large hail.

Get vehicles indoors if possible, secure anything that could be blown around by the wind (we see this happen to trampolines all the time!). Have alerts 🚨 on and volume up. These storms will likely happen theoughout the night.

The TOP discontinued shingle we see

All these fancy colors on the WHIO radar tell us we have fairly strong weather descending on the Miami Valley 🌧️ 💨 ⛈️

Hail is likely going to be smaller, but the Beavercreek, Bellbrook axis definitely had some strong winds and we are seeing reports of large trees/branches down. These are the kinds of storms that tear shingles off roofs!

More advanced weather products (NOAA, Hailtrace, etc…) help us professionals pinpoint localized storm strengths to determine where damage is likely the worst.

This helps us show up quickly in the event shingles get blown off or roofs get impacted by tree limbs.

If you are in this South East band and have an older roof, the next few days would be a good time to get post-storm inspections.

Storm damage found during this inspection on this large custom home. This damage was not visible from the ground. If you have a large, OLD roof like this, it only makes sense to have it inspected every year. Older roofs are much more susceptible to storm damage.

If you have a large roof, that’s showing signs of heavy wear, give us a call. We will walk you through all 4 options depending on what we find!
