The Water Well Trust offers assistance to eligible low-income rural homeowners who need a safe water supply or proper wastewater system. Qualified households may be eligible for loans with a 1% interest rate and repayment terms of up to 20 years, with no additional costs or application fees.
Eligibility requirements include:
• Existing home must be the applicant’s primary residence
• Mortgage or deed must be in the applicant’s name
• No reliable source of water and no option to connect to public utilities
• Household income qualifications apply
