Job Description: Residential Carpenter/ Punchlist Mechanic

Job Position: Residential Carpenter/ Punchlist Mechanic

Reports to: Project manager/ project secretary

Direct Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions: Use advanced knowledge of general carpentry, production trim carpentry and fulfilling our pre and post closings punchlist as well as the 11 month punchlist. Communication with the management and contractors on site is essential. The position requires applicant to have extensive knowledge and/ or background of the following:

Basic problem solving
Reading and understanding blueprints
Using all tools of the trade
Worksite cleanliness
Building codes
OSHA Regulations
Excellent communication skills
The right candidate can be trained in some of the previous aspects, but the eagerness to learn and accept responsibility is required of all applicants. This position will be responsible for:

All daily interior and exterior carpentry on-site, including but not limited to:
Hanging and installing doors
Finish interior trim work
Finish exterior trim work
Installing pre-built cabinets
Manufacturing and installing custom casework
Scheduling and communicating punchlist for the following:
Pre and Post Closing punchlist
11 month punchlist
Communicating with management
Warranty Administration
Direct follow-up with project management
Essentials for the right candidate:

Valid PA drivers license
Communication
Carpentry
Punchlist administration
Be able to lift 80 lbs
Be able to pass the following: Pre and post employment
Criminal background check
Clean driving record
Drug Test
DOT Physical
Workplace Physical
