Here is a little update on a pantry area project we just wrapped up 🙂

We’ve got CNC machines and power tools. They had axes and a whole lot more patience.

Sunday is the last day for Pioneer Craft Day at Forest Glen Preserve, with demonstrations of some of the skills people once used to build, make and survive with their own two hands.

Cabinetmaking has come a long way since the pioneer days, but we still have a soft spot for people who know how to make something well.

Head out to Forest Glen Sunday from 10–4, enjoy the demonstrations, and support a great local tradition.

And please don’t ask us to build your next kitchen with an axe. We have standards.

There’s just something about the smell of a woodshop in Autumn…

Fresh-cut wood, sawdust, crisp fall air—we might be a little biased, but we think it WOOD make a pretty great candle scent. 🕯

“Autumn in the Woodshop," who’s buying it?

Fall is here. 🍂 Halloween is right around the corner. 🎃

But can we talk about the very large turkey in the room? 🦃

Thanksgiving is coming. And so is the family.

If you’re hosting this year, you already know what that means. Suddenly you notice the guest bathroom that could use an update. The pantry everyone will see you opening 47 times. The closet you hope nobody looks inside. 😬

Now is a great time to think about those spaces you’ve been meaning to tackle.

A refreshed bathroom. A beautifully organized pantry. Custom closet storage. Built-ins that finally give everything a place.

At Creative Cabinets Pro, we’ve been helping area homeowners create beautiful, functional spaces since 1989.

If company is coming for the holidays, don’t wait until the week before Thanksgiving to start thinking about it. Give us a call or stop by our Danville showroom and let’s talk about what’s possible.

And now for the important question…

Is Halloween a BIG deal at your house, too, or is that just those of us with grandkids? 🎃😂

Labor Day weekend is a good reminder of something Danville has always known: strong communities are built by people who show up, work hard, learn a trade, build a business, raise a family, and take pride in the place they call home.

We’re proud to be part of that tradition here in Danville, Illinois, designing custom cabinets, remodeling kitchens, and helping our neighbors make their homes a little more their own.

This weekend, we’re simply celebrating the people who keep Danville working, building, growing, and moving forward.

Enjoy the long weekend, neighbors.

Some good news for Danville and Vermilion County! 🙌
It’s more than Thunder on the Vermilion ~ Thunder for Vermilion!!!

Danville’s unemployment rate dropped from 7.3% last July to 5.7% this July, while Vermilion County improved from 6.1% to 4.6%. 🧨🧨🧨

More people working. More opportunity. More reasons to feel good about the direction our community is heading. 🙏🙏🙏

We’re proud to call Danville home and even prouder to serve homeowners throughout our community.💪💪💪 Danville Strong!!!

Danville, your weekend plans are calling!

We love a good home project as much as anybody, obviously. But the last thing we want our extended Creative Cabinets Pro family doing on a beautiful summer weekend is sitting around worrying about the kitchen, bathroom, cabinets, or that project you’ve been meaning to get to.

The house will still be there Monday.

This weekend, grab the kids, grab the grandkids, and enjoy Danville!

FischerFest at the Fischer Theatre is bringing Big Stories, Short Films to downtown Danville today, with free short-film screenings and family-friendly programming.

Then tonight, head over to Danville Stadium for the Chicago Snowballs vs. Rocket Squirrels at 6:30! It’s not your ordinary baseball game , it’s a family-friendly “sportstainment” night built around baseball, entertainment, and having fun together.

And Mother Nature seems mostly willing to cooperate. There is a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm today, but Sunday is looking especially nice, mostly sunny with temperatures in the upper 70s.

So forget the projects for a day. Get outside. Support the community. Make some memories with the people you love.

Your home is important. But the people you share it with are what make it home.

Have a great weekend, Danville!
